Hearing Aids

When selecting new hearing aids, you want to ensure the devices you choose are congruent with your individual needs. This means carefully considering different device variables that will impact your decision, from styles to features. There are also certain personal factors you should consider in addition to the type of device you select, including:

  • Hearing needs
  • Medical considerations
  • Visual limitations or manual dexterity issues
  • Cosmetic concerns
  • Lifestyle
  • Budget

Technology is constantly changing. You can count on Audiology Services Inc. to provide you with the information you need to make the right decision for you. From a plethora of styles to choose from to the top manufacturers, when it comes to your hearing aid selection, we’re proud to offer:

Styles of Hearing Aids

Hearing aids are smaller, sleeker and far more discreet than ever before. The right style for you may not be the same for someone else, which is why it’s important to work with an audiologist to find your perfect device. We offer the top hearing aid styles, including:

  • Extended Wear Hearing Aid (Lyric)
  • Behind the ear (BTE)
  • Receiver in ear (RIC)
  • Custom in the ear
  • Invisible in canal (IIC)
  • Completely in canal (CIC)
  • In the ear (ITE)

Extended wear devices

These hearing aids are inserted by an audiologist and stay in place until time for replacement. Think of them like disposable contact lenses, except they are for hearing and last a longer period of time.

BTE hearing aids

These devices are worn with one component behind the ear while another component delivers sound via tubing into the ear canal or to an earmold worn in the ear.

ITE hearing aids

These devices are custom made from an impression of the wearer’s ear. They are worn in the bowl of the ear and come in either full or half-shell varieties.
